About
Welcome to Slurp Nudelbar, a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Munich at Prielmayerstraße 3. This vibrant eatery promises an immersive experience with its cozy atmosphere, inviting you to indulge in authentic noodle dishes that transport your taste buds straight to Asia.
From the moment you step in, you’ll be greeted by the friendly staff who ensure you feel right at home. A recent visitor, Martin Valter, noted how seamlessly he was seated even during the bustling weekend dinner rush—a testament to Slurp Nudelbar's efficient service. The quick arrival of his meal was matched only by the quality of the food, leaving a memorable impression that speaks volumes about their kitchen’s capability.
One of the standout features of Slurp Nudelbar is the variety of authentic Asian dishes on offer. The ramen soups have been a point of discussion among patrons. While some reviews, like that of Samuel Tervaskanto, mention an experience that fell short of expectations in terms of flavor, others rave about particular dishes, such as the tantalizing spring rolls or the impressive fish dish meant for sharing. The emphasis on customization—choosing your vegetables to complement your meal—adds an interactive dining aspect that many diners appreciate.
For those sunny day visits, take note: the absence of air conditioning can make the space a bit warm, particularly during peak summer months. However, many guests, like Lea, have found that sharing large, flavorful portions makes for a delightful communal dining experience, perfectly suited to hot weather.
And don’t overlook the sweet surprise that awaits you at the end of your meal! Slurp Nudelbar is known for its complimentary dessert—creamy vanilla ice cream served with refreshing orange slices, delighting guests like Ben Baranovsky, who articulated that it was a refreshing departure from the usual Bavarian fare.
In essence, Slurp Nudelbar is an intriguing twist on the typical dining scene in Munich, offering hearty portions and a casual ambiance that sometimes makes you forget you’re in Germany at all. Whether you’re a noodle aficionado or just in search of a cozy spot with friendly service, this establishment is certainly worth a visit. Experience the rich flavors and comfortable vibes that leave an indelible mark on all who enter.
“ Great atmosphere, felt very cozy. We also immediately got seated despite arriving for dinner at 8 o'clock on a weekend with no reservation. The food came very quickly, and was really good. Excellent service from very friendly staff. At the end of the meal they surprised us with two bowls of free vanilla ice cream and orange slices! ”
“ I visited this place with my kids after seeing so many great reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for us. Maybe we just caught it at an off time, but the whole experience felt pretty average. Service was minimal, our waiter seemed a bit rushed and not particularly friendly, just dropped off food and drinks quickly without much interaction. The spring rolls were actually the highlight. They were tasty and well done. For mains, we all tried different ramen soups, but none of them really stood out. The broths felt a bit weak, and the noodles and ingredients just didn’t seem that flavorful. Overall, the food was okay at best. The free dessert ice cream at the end was a nice surprise though. It’s not a place we’d rush back to, but maybe others have had better luck. ”
“ The food reminded me so much of my days in China, its pretty authentic. You should try the fish dish for sharing, its huge it can be shared with a few friends. You can also choose which veggies you want to put in it! Its great! The place has no AC so it could get pretty hot if you come here on a warm day, so keep that in mind. We came here in June and it was already pretty warm inside, especially with the food that we ordered. ”
“ Really good food. Portions are big, so my friend and I shared the dish - which was perfect for the hot weather. Prices are reasonable. ”
“ Great udon and I recommend the duck. Super friendly staff and they gave us some nice vanilla ice cream on the house for dessert. Just visiting, but this was a nice break from sausage and beer. ”
“ Authentic Chinese flavor, the boiling fish is very traditional and good tasted. Service is fantastic. 5/5 recommended ”
“ This restaurant is located near Munich Central Station, small yet crowded especially during lunch break. The waiter, which served us, was very friendly. My wife decided to try these two dishes : 1. 八寶蓋飯 : This was such a simple stir-fried beef slices with veggies. The beef was so tender. The vegetables still maintained their crispness. Everything was well-seasoned. The rice was slightly stick yet the grains were still intact. 2. 脆皮烤鴨沙茶湯自製金蛋麵 : This bowl of noodle soup was so comforting. The duck slices had crispy exterior. The inside was succulent. The vegetables were not overcooked. The broth delivered such a depth, which made this dish so hearty and satisfying. ”
“ I love this Chinese restaurant with friends. The three of us can just go with the set menu, and you can opt for the spicy version. I love the bullfrog and spareribs, but some people might not like seafood, so just let the waiter know. They also serve ice cream for dessert. ”
